Job Description
Job Posting TitleOn-Site Account Representative Job Description The On-Site Account Representative will be responsible for managing the inventory and logistics of industrial machine spare parts at the customer site. This role involves daily interaction with customers and suppliers to ensure the timely gathering, recording, and shipping of parts. The candidate will be trained to use ERP software for tracking all parts and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathering Parts:
Collect industrial machine spare parts from designated areas within the manufacturing facility, including identifying and retrieving parts that have failed.Data Entry:
Accurately enter part data into the ERP system for tracking purposes. Training on ERP software will be provided.Supplier Communication:
Maintain regular communication with suppliers and vendors to follow up on open transactions. This includes contacting suppliers via phone, email, and in person.Shipping and Receiving:
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of parts to and from suppliers. This involves some physical labor in handling parts.Customer Interaction:
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure all transactions are completed efficiently. Exceptional communication skills are required to interact with customers and suppliers effectively.Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical labor involved in gathering and shipping parts.
- Experience with ERP software is a plus, but training will be provided. Brief Statement of Work (SOW):
