The territory encompasses Columbus to Toledo to Grand Rapids, but not Detroit. Qualified candidates need to live in Columbus or Grand Rapids.
General Description:
Reporting to the Division Sales Manager- Targeted Accounts, the Account Manager
- Targeted Accounts, will contribute to BeOne's overall sales objectives by performing assigned sales activities. The Account Manager
- Targeted Accounts will provide physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with products, services, and information that will enable them to prescribe BeOne's portfolio of products safely and effectively. The Account Manager
- Targeted Accounts will focus on strategic initiatives in high performing accounts to support the Hematology and Solid Tumor franchises (Hematology in the near term).
Job:
Promotes BeOne's Hematology and Solid Tumor (Hematology in the near term) products through calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory. Will implement sales, marketing, and patient support programs to acquire and keep appropriate patients on BeiGene Hematology and Solid Tumor products. Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne's Hematology and Solid Tumor products. Ensures that healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of BeOne's Hematology and Solid Tumor products with their patients. Maintains communication and integrates activities, when appropriate, with BeOne's Market Access and Customer Enterprise teams. Will collaborate with Field Medical when appropriate. Identifies customer prescribing trends and territory dynamics and ensures, through coordinated communication and planning, that appropriate people and resources are allocated to opportunities. Successful completion of all clinical training, sales training and eLMS/Compliance Wire assignments. Performs all administrative functions required of the position, including reporting call activity and entering customer / account information in the appropriate call reporting system in a timely manner, as well as submitting expenses and utilizing the corporate credit card. Is compliant with applicable BeOne policies and procedures (e.g., healthcare compliance policy, adverse event reporting, travel and expense reporting). Assists in the identification and resolution of opportunities and challenges; communicates insights proactively to marketing and sales leadership. Must be skilled in working in fast paced environments with shifting priorities.Required Experience:
This position requires aB.A. / B.S.
with previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred. The ideal candidate should have 8 plus years' experience in pharmaceutical sales & sales management, with significant oncology experience. Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style. Dedicated to making customer service a priority. Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales. Experience in specialty sales, with an understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes as well as an understanding of national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals, Medicare Part D, etc. Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs). Familiarity with CRM software and proven track record of use. Ability to actively engage in developing new business.
