Fisher Dynamics is currently seeking a Key Account Manager within our corporate team in Saint Clair Shores, Mi. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with the customer, and potentially other OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned account(s), ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, managing projects, and driving revenue and profitability through strategic account development. The ideal candidate combines strong sales and relationship management skills with financial and technical acumen of the automotive industry, manufacturing processes, product knowledge, financial metrics, and customer requirements. Experience with Ford Motor Company is preferred. Experience in Automotive Seating is required.
Essential Duties & Requirements:
Account Management Serve as primary liaison, between assigned customers and internal Fisher team, for all commercial activities. Conduct regular customer meetings, site visits, and business reviews with customer purchasing and engineering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to satisfy customer needs. Business Development Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities. Develop strategic plans to increase our market share with the customer. Prepare quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations. Customer Support & Program Management Collaborate with program management to ensure customer milestones are achieved. Monitor customer requirements, forecasts, and production schedules. Ensure customer expectations and performance metrics are consistently achieved. Revenue & Profitability Meet or exceed assigned sales and profitability targets. Review and challenge business cases for correct inputs and to improve costs. Manage customer profitability and cash flow. Reporting & Analysis Maintain accurate sales forecasts and commercial wins for business reviews with management. Lead sales planning and revenue projections. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field required. Experience 5-7 Years of experience in account management within the automotive industry Experience with Automotive Seating Required Experience with Ford Motor Company preferred Skills Ability to manage customer relationships Achieve sales targets Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing, OEMs, Suppliers, and Industry standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation Skills Strategic Thinker Cross-Functional Collaboration Safety Safety glasses and hearing protection required when on the production floor. Other safety equipment required on an as needed basis.
