Peters Funeral Home is a part of Service Corporation International/Dignity Memorial which is the largest American provider of funeral, cemetery, & cremation services. We don't sell funerals and cemetery plots - we design celebrations and memorable tributes! This opportunity represents unlimited potential for income, company provided leads, and career advancement! We are looking for Sales Professionals to join our team in Metro-Detroit Market! We provide excellent structured training in the classroom, in the field, and on-line. Your responsibilities will include making sales presentations, networking, getting referrals, and presenting group informational seminars. Responsibilities Engage with clients through outside sales efforts, building strong relationships to identify their pre-planning needs and preferences Conduct comprehensive analysis of client information to recommend suitable solutions aligned with their goals Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation, follow-up, and maintaining accurate client records Collaborate with team to develop strategies that enhance outreach and client engagement Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and guiding clients through the pre-planning process with clarity Utilize multilingual skills when necessary to communicate effectively with diverse client populations, ensuring understanding across language barriers (not required) Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales environments demonstrating strong negotiation skills Michigan Life Insurance License preferred, will be required before starting in the role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Strong analysis skills to assess client needs and develop tailored pre-planning solutions Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems for managing client interactions and documentation Knowledge of marketing principles to support outreach initiatives and promote services effectively Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and benefits administration standards Exceptional customer service orientation combined with active listening skills to build trust and rapport Join us as a Pre-Planning Advisor and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to empowering clients through thoughtful planning.
