GoGoRental is looking for a strong, hands-on Location Manager to lead our Detroit Lakes rental operation. This isn't a position where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, leads from the front, solves problems quickly, holds people accountable, and takes pride in running a successful operation. Our Detroit Lakes location manages a diverse recreational rental fleet including RVs, travel trailers, pontoons, boats, UTVs, and other recreational equipment. The business is fast-paced and highly seasonal, which means the right manager needs to be organized, adaptable, and comfortable making decisions. You'll have the support and resources of an established company—but you'll be expected to run the location like it's your own business. As Location Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the Detroit Lakes operation, including: Leading, scheduling, training, and holding your team accountable Managing daily rental operations from reservation through return Ensuring rental agreements, waivers, insurance requirements, and company procedures are completed correctly every time Maintaining fleet readiness and making sure equipment is clean, safe, inspected, and ready for customers Coordinating maintenance, repairs, parts, and downtime Managing customer issues and making sound decisions when problems arise Driving revenue through strong customer service, add-ons, delivery, insurance, and other rental services Monitoring reservations and preparing the location for upcoming demand Maintaining an organized, professional, and customer-ready facility Reviewing daily operational reporting and following up on outstanding issues Managing seasonal staffing and adjusting operations during high-volume periods Protecting company equipment and reducing preventable damage and downtime Working directly with company leadership on performance, opportunities, and improvements The strongest candidates will have: Previous management or leadership experience Experience supervising employees and setting expectations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills The ability to stay composed when several things need attention at once Confidence handling customers and resolving difficult situations A high level of personal accountability Comfort working around vehicles, trailers, boats, or equipment Basic understanding of maintenance and mechanical issues Strong computer and communication skills Ability to work independently without needing constant direction A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record What Success Looks Like A successful GoGoRental Location Manager doesn't wait to be told what needs to happen. You know what is going out tomorrow. You know what equipment isn't ready and why. Your employees know what's expected of them. Your paperwork is complete. Your customers are taken care of. Your location is organized, and when a problem comes up, you take ownership and get it handled. We want someone who can look at the entire operation, identify what needs attention, and make things happen. Why GoGoRental? GoGoRental is a growing recreational rental company with a large and diverse fleet. Our business combines customer service, sales, fleet management, logistics, maintenance, and recreation into one operation. For the right person, this position provides the opportunity to: Lead a real operation rather than simply supervise a shift Have meaningful control over how your location performs Work with a wide variety of recreational equipment Earn additional compensation based on performance Work directly with company leadership Grow as the company continues expanding This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, running an operation, solving problems, and seeing the direct results of their work.
