Job Description

Position Summary:
This position is critical to our business. Our valued employee must rely on attention to detail and accountability with a good understanding of project management. The individual that takes on this role, must possess a customer service mindset, while providing accurate and critical information to operations and the customer(s). This is a great opportunity for the incumbent to work in a challenging and technical industry, while working independently to drive personal goals with growth.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To understand and communicate different technology systems to customer or potential customers to allow understanding of the systems they are purchasing.
  • Responsible for translating or transposing customers needs and requirements in detailed proposals.
  • Meet with customers on-site to go over project scopes to limit or eliminate future unexpected costly change orders.
  • Meet with engineering to go over project scopes prior to presenting to customers.
  • Document scope of work and offer details to the operations and engineering staff.
  • Organize and prepare sales supporting documents to include contractual agreements for the customer.
  • Continually focus on training and education focusing on technologies as it relates to the fire & security industry.
  • Prospect new clients with marketing strategies via on-site or phones calls.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Skills & Experience):
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED/Vocational training.
  • Must have a current and active driver's license.
  • Highly motivated and able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Able to multitask while staying professional.
  • Must have experience with email & phone management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Comfortable managing and updating spreadsheets.
