Job Summary

DPP is seeking an Account Manager for an opportunity with our client in Winston Salem, NC.

Position Summary:

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in our sales department, responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with our valued clients.

This role involves managing a portfolio of accounts, understanding client needs, and proactively promoting our products and services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and client relations skills, a deep understanding of our offerings, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations.

Regularly engage with clients to assess their needs, provide support, and identify opportunities for growth.

Ensure clients receive a high level of service and support to enhance their overall experience.

Inside Sales:

Identify potential sales opportunities during customer interactions.

Promote and upsell products and services to existing clients.

Generate and maintain leads through outbound calls and emails.

Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions.

Follow-up on quotations and client interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and improve close rate.

Client Communication:

Maintain open and transparent communication with clients to keep them informed of product updates, promotions, and relevant information.

Address client questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.

Ensure clients are aware of the value they receive from our products and services.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account information.

Prepare regular reports on account performance and sales progress.

Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and strategies for account management.

Market Knowledge:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments.

Utilize market knowledge to provide clients with insights and recommendations for their business.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.

A minimum of five years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of success.

Project management experience.

Production and/or manufacturing experience.

Must have experience in the tobacco industry.

Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software tools.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Commitment to maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

A strong dedication to understanding and exceeding client expectations.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information persuasively and professionally.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and resolve issues effectively.

Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple client accounts.

A deep understanding of the companys products and services to offer expert guidance and recommendations to clients.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing priorities and tasks.
