Job Description

Account ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an Account Manager to grow and maintain relationships with architects, designers, fabricators and builders in the high-end residential and commercial markets. This role combines inside sales and account management with deep product knowledge of natural and engineered stone and tile to drive revenue, secure repeat business and support specification and project delivery. The ideal candidate will understand luxury building materials, provide consultative selling, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of key accounts including architects, designers, general contractors and stone fabricators to retain and grow revenue.

Act as primary point of contact for clients: respond to inquiries, provide product guidance, manage quotes, and coordinate sample requests.

Drive inside sales by qualifying leads, developing proposals, negotiating pricing and closing orders to meet monthly and annual sales targets.

Provide technical and aesthetic product expertise on natural stone, engineered stone and tile; advise on selection, finishes, edge profiles and installation considerations.

Work closely with design and project teams to support specification, mock-ups, sample approval and project timelines; ensure delivery and quality standards are met.

Coordinate with logistics, production and fabrication partners to track orders, resolve issues and expedite shipments when needed.

Develop and execute account plans and sales strategies for assigned territory or market segment, identifying opportunities for cross-sell and upsell.

Maintain accurate records in CRM, update opportunity pipelines, forecast sales and prepare regular account reports for leadership.

Represent the company at trade shows, design events and customer meetings; build network and promote brand within luxury building materials community.

Provide feedback to product development and marketing on market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to influence new product offerings and marketing collateral.

Qualifications3+ years of account management or inside sales experience in building materials, stone, tile, or related luxury finishes; experience with high-end residential or commercial markets preferred.

Strong knowledge of natural stone, engineered stone and tile products, fabrication methods and installation considerations.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to consultatively sell to designers, architects and contractors.

Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; ability to manage pipelines and produce forecasts.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project-management skills; able to prioritize competing deadlines.

Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits and trade events; valid drivers license.

Highly service-oriented, collaborative team player with problem-solving mindset and professional presence; bilingual skills a plus (e.g., Spanish).

$70,000-$80,000 + Uncapped Commission
