ACCOUNT MANAGER 3.0 3.0
out of 5 stars Provides comprehensive and specialized audit support for the Department of Pharmacy 340B Drug Pricing Program, which is offered and regulated through the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Pharmacy Affairs. The program requires drug manufacturers who participate in Medicaid or Medicare Part B to provide covered outpatient drugs to designated safety-net providers at a reduced price. The program enables covered entities, including Auburn Community Hospital, to stretch scarce federal resources, reach more eligible patients and provide more comprehensive services. In order for the department of Pharmacy to remain eligible, participate, register, annually re-certify and remain a covered entity, comprehensive and specialized auditing activity is required. This position will directly support the auditing needs at an advanced professional level.Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of (5) years Retail or Hospital pharmacy experience. National certification (CPhT) is required to be completed within one (1) year from the date of hire. Once obtained, national certification must be maintained throughout employment. A general proficiency in and understanding of health system pharmacy operations. Ability to perform sophisticated business analyses of data with the capability of designing and preparing extensive financial reports. Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements. Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain and analyze data. Knowledge of contract development and negotiation. Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. The ability to analyze complex problems, formulate sound solutions, secure approval from key stakeholders and implement such solutions. Ability to supervise and train assigned staff. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Possesses skills in empowering the employees to practice teamwork. Full-time, 37.5 hoursSalary:
