Rental About Us Bobcat of Westchester is a full-service Bobcat equipment dealer providing sales, rental, parts, and service for compact construction and agricultural equipment. We're looking for a motivated and self starting Rental Coordinator to join our team and help keep our customers' projects moving. Position Summary The Rental Coordinator / Counter Sales Representative is the first point of contact for customers renting equipment, whether by phone, online, or in person. This role manages the rental process from quote to return — matching customers with the right equipment and attachments, processing contracts, coordinating logistics with the yard and delivery team, and ensuring a smooth, professional rental experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers at the counter, by phone, and via email regarding equipment rental needs Recommend appropriate equipment, attachments, and accessories based on customer job requirements Prepare and process rental contracts, quotes, and invoices accurately Coordinate equipment availability, scheduling, delivery, and pick-up with the yard and transportation team Track rental fleet utilization and communicate equipment status to management Inspect returned equipment with yard staff and document any damage or missing items Upsell related products, damage waivers, and services where appropriate Maintain accurate customer records and rental agreements in the dealership management system Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business Resolve customer concerns or escalate to the Rental Director as needed Support month-end rental billing and reporting as needed Qualifications Prior experience in equipment rental, counter sales, or a related customer service role preferred Familiarity with compact construction equipment (skid steers, excavators, track loaders, attachments, aerial and tree equipment) a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable with basic computer systems, rental/dealership software, and Microsoft Office Ability to multitask in a fast-paced counter environment Bilingual a plus Valid driver's license required, with travel between locations as needed High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Requirements Ability to walk the yard and inspect equipment in various weather conditions Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs What We Offer Competitive hourly/salary pay, based on experience Monthly bonus based on revenue and performance Health/dental/vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee discounts on equipment/parts/service Opportunity for growth within a growing Bobcat dealership Bobcat of Westchester is an equal opportunity employer.
