We're looking for a Relationship Manager who loves solving complex challenges, building strong customer relationships, and driving meaningful operational impact. In this role, you will be involved in leading solution development efforts to meet customer needs, focusing on optimizing packaging-related supply chains and driving profitability. The position requires up to 25% domestic travel to customer and vendor locations to establish and maintain relationships, review needs, and identify business expansion opportunities. Responsibilities include managing customer communications; conflict resolution; negotiating pricing, service terms, and contracts; collaborating with inter-departmental teams to meet performance objectives; and maintaining an understanding of the company's capabilities and industry standards, acting as a trusted resource for logistics and pallet design inquiries. Additionally, the role involves resolving vendor scheduling and quality issues and creating strategies to manage supplier cost variability. Key skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to manage multiple projects. The role requires the ability to gather and analyze data, solve problems, and work independently. A valid driver's license and travel to manufacturing areas where safety gear is required are necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree in business, logistics, or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Special Requirements
- Driver's license. Real ID driver's license and/or passport preferred.
- Regular day and overnight travel to client and supplier locations.
- Occasional weekend travel may be required.
- Ability to work overtime and be on-call as needed.
