Job Description

Territory Account Manager - K-12 Education About NSAV Solutions NSAV Solutions has been serving schools and educators since 2009. We provide technology products, replacement parts, and support to K-12 districts across the country, helping schools keep the technology they rely on operating efficiently and within budget. NSAV is entering the next stage of our growth. We are expanding our sales coverage across the country, building dedicated geographic territories, improving the data and technology available to our sales team, and developing the structure to support a larger national sales organization. We are looking for a Territory Account Manager who wants the opportunity to take ownership of a market, build business, and grow with that organization. What the Role Looks Like Today This is a hands-on, quota-carrying sales position. You will take ownership of an established geographic territory containing an organized pipeline of K-12 school districts. The territory has already been built and structured within our CRM, giving you a foundation to begin developing business rather than starting with a blank list. Your responsibility is to turn that territory into relationships, opportunities, and revenue. That means personally prospecting by phone and email, developing relationships with district technology and purchasing teams, identifying opportunities, preparing and following up on quotes, closing business, and developing customers into repeat accounts. This is not an inbound-only sales position. Consistent outbound prospecting is an important part of developing the territory, particularly while building your customer base. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable personally creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads or relying on others to generate them. At the same time, the objective isn't simply activity. The goal is to turn that activity into conversations, relationships, quotes, customers, and long-term business. Where the Role Can Go The role is designed to evolve as the territory develops. Building a territory requires consistent prospecting and new-business development. As those efforts create customers and recurring business, more of your time naturally shifts toward account development, larger opportunities, repeat customers, and long-term district relationships. As NSAV expands into additional geographic territories, we plan to add sales resources where territory production supports them. Successful Territory Account Managers may have the opportunity to mentor and eventually lead junior sales representatives while taking on broader responsibility for territory and team performance. Leadership opportunities are based on demonstrated sales production, territory development, consistency, and the ability to help others succeed. We are looking for someone who wants to help build that organization, not simply step into one that has already been built. Responsibilities Own and develop an assigned geographic territory of K-12 school districts Prospect and develop new district relationships through phone, email, research, and targeted outreach Build relationships with technology directors, purchasing departments, administrators, and other district decision-makers Identify purchasing needs, upcoming projects, refresh cycles, and new sales opportunities Manage opportunities from initial contact through quote, follow-up, and close Prepare and actively follow up on customer quotes Convert new opportunities into customers and repeat business Develop existing customers and identify opportunities to expand those relationships Respond professionally to customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and orders Maintain an organized and actively worked pipeline within Odoo CRM Use customer, district, purchasing, and market data to prioritize sales activity Develop a strong understanding of NSAV's products, services, pricing processes, and internal systems Work closely with purchasing, operations, and management to support customer opportunities Balance consistent outbound prospecting with conversations, quotes, follow-up, customer service, and account development Meet established sales, gross profit, and activity expectations for the territory Take ownership of the territory's performance and results What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that building a successful sales territory requires both consistent activity and strong relationship development. The right candidate enjoys building business. You are comfortable picking up the phone and initiating conversations, but you also understand that the purpose of those conversations is to uncover needs, establish credibility, develop relationships, and ultimately create long-term business. You should be organized, persistent, self-directed, and accountable for your results. This role may be particularly attractive to someone who has already demonstrated success in B2B sales and wants greater ownership of a market, along with the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility as the company expands. Requirements 3+ years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated responsibility for new-business development Proven ability to prospect and generate new business Demonstrated success developing customer relationships and achieving sales goals Experience managing a sales pipeline from initial prospecting through close Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Comfortable working consistently within a CRM and established sales processes Comfortable being measured against sales and activity expectations Ability to learn new products, systems, and processes Experience in K-12 education, EdTech, IT hardware, AV, technology distribution, or related industries preferred Experience managing a geographic territory or large account base is a plus Odoo experience is a plus, but not required What NSAV Provides You will not be starting from scratch. NSAV has invested heavily in building the infrastructure behind our sales organization and continues to improve those systems as we scale.
We provide:
An established geographic territory and organized CRM pipeline School district and account data Purchasing and market intelligence Market-based pricing information Established quoting and pricing processes Product and compatibility data Sales and operational SOPs Training and ongoing management support Purchasing and warehouse support Existing customers and a company history serving schools since 2009 Our goal is to give our sales team the information, tools, and operational support necessary to spend less time searching for information and more time developing customers and closing business.
