Job Description

Client Relationship Manager This is not a typical help desk position. The environment is outstanding, the tasks are challenging and the interactions with our clients are rewarding. Schenectady-based software consulting firm, James McGuinness & Associates, is seeking a full-time Client Relationship Manager.
Successful candidates must:

  • Be able to gather and analyze data related to customer issues.
  • Be able to create and present information in live training sessions.
  • Be available to travel occasionally.
  • Be able to write documentation for software products.
  • Work with personal computers.
  • Be able to test software to ensure user requirements are satisfied.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude within a fast-paced, growth-based environment.
  • Ability to embrace and adapt well to change.
  • Think creatively and offer ideas to help enhance the client experience.
Knowledge, Skill, Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting and payroll functions. Experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Word and Excel). Experience with Microsoft SQL preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills including problem resolution. Time management skills, including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Solid interpersonal and communication skills in order to meet customer needs and resolve customer service issues. Ability to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and the ability to build relationships. Have the technical aptitude to learn and use new systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree (IT background a plus) 1-3 years of customer services experience

Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Full benefit package.

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
