Position Overview Frank Murken Products is looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our team in a unique hybrid position combining gasket production with junior account management responsibilities supporting key customer accounts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work but is also interested in developing customer service, account management, and business skills. The successful candidate will divide their time between producing and preparing gasket products and assisting with the day-to-day management of key customer accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn our business from the ground up and grow into greater responsibility over time. Key Responsibilities Gasket Production Manufacture and prepare gaskets according to customer specifications and work orders Operate gasket production equipment and hand tools safely and accurately Read and follow drawings, measurements, and production instructions Inspect completed products for accuracy and quality Package and prepare completed orders Maintain an organized and safe production area Assist with inventory and material management as needed Junior Account Management Support Account Managers responsible for key customer accounts Assist with customer inquiries, order entry, quotes, and order follow up Communicate with production, purchasing, and other departments to ensure customer requirements are met Monitor open orders and help identify potential delivery or production issues Assist with maintaining customer records, pricing information, and documentation Develop knowledge of Frank Murken Products' gasket, sealing, hose, and fluid power products Build relationships with customer contacts while learning the fundamentals of account management Take on additional account management responsibilities as knowledge and experience develop Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in both a production environment and an office setting Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our business systems Ability to read measurements and perform basic math accurately Dependable, organized, and willing to learn Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Previous manufacturing, customer service, inside sales, or account management experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who wants more than just a production job. The ideal candidate is hands-on, curious, professional, and interested in understanding both how our products are made and how we serve our customers. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience on both the manufacturing and customer sides of our business, with the potential to develop into a larger account management role as the individual grows. Compensation $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
