Our mission is to provide exceptional services to our clients while creating an atmosphere that will promote, support and reward our staff for making a difference. We currently have a unique opportunity for an to join our team of accounting professionals. Full-time hours for this position are Monday through Friday (8am - 5pm) with some overtime required during tax season (January 15th-April 15th).
Note:
June through August we are closed on Friday's. Work schedule to be discussed at time of interview. The ideal candidate is a bright, energetic, and professional communicator who thrives on providing exceptional service to clients. Attention to detail, a welcoming demeanor, and a strong team-first attitude are needed to excel in this position. Proficiency in MS Office is required, along with the ability to quickly learn and navigate specialized software.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Return Assembly & Delivery:
Assemble corporate, individual, sales, and payroll tax returns for client distribution. You will have the opportunity to become the department lead for our assembly and electronic delivery processes.
Client Support & Technology Guidance:
Assist clients with routine inquiries regarding their tax return status. Research and troubleshoot client concerns, with a specific focus on helping users navigate document uploads and e-signatures within our Thomson Reuters software platforms.
Administrative & Front Office Support:
Partner with the receptionist to answer a multi-line phone system, accurately direct calls, greet clients, and assist with daily office operations. Occasionally deliver client information as requested.
Data & Document Management:
Maintain databases, organize electronic files, enter data, billing, and handle word processing, spreadsheets, and other firm documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience:
High School diploma required; an Associate's degree and/or 1-3 years previous administrative experience is preferred.
Communication & Organization:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and superior organizational abilities.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required, with a high aptitude for learning firm-specific software.
Time Management:
Proven ability to multi-task, manage simultaneous high-priority deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Discretion:
Absolute commitment to maintaining the highest level of client confidentiality.
