Pay :

Overview :
Our client, a distribution company founded in the 1930s located in Beachwood, OH, is seeking an Account Administrator to join their team. The Account Administrator interacts with and supports the company's customers, vendors/partners, and the outside sales representatives. This position reports directly to the Account Administration and Compliance Manager. This is primarily a customer service oriented position with some administrative tasks/duties. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn/highly trainable, have a customer service oriented mindset, friendly/positive attitude, and looking for a long-term home!
Schedule :
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
Duties :
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and web chat to provide product and service information Collect necessary order details and assist with reviewing contracts for new and repeat business Support the Outside Sales Representative in quoting and price negotiations Respond to customer inquiries, including requests for quotes and product information Collaborate with suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery timelines Resolve customer issues and concerns by coordinating with Outside Sales, Quality, and other departments as needed Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups Monitor inventory levels for assigned customer products and provide updates as needed Assist with project management activities in collaboration with the Outside Sales Representative Perform additional related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications :
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service orientation with a focus on solution-based sales support Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a moderately paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills are a significant advantage Comfortable learning and using ERP systems and online procurement platforms Basic technical math and mechanical aptitude preferred Previous customer service or inside sales experience required Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints is a plus Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods US Citizenship is required in compliance with federal regulations (ITAR) Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
