JOB SUMMARY

The Key Account Packaging Specialist will ensure that the product handling is completed on time and with high quality, while packaging a wide variety of products and materials by hand or by operating a pre-pack machine to prepare products for shipment.

MON-FRI RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

This position reports to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. Pull measure, weigh, and count products and materials according to packing slips. Mark and label boxes using marking tools as required. Select and assemble appropriate containers for products. Close, seal, and secure containers as needed. Sort and stack containers onto skids or carts. Shrink wrap and secure loads for shipment. Operate forklift and or pallet jack as needed. Position pre-packs bulk inventory into specified package quantities. Responsible for ensuring correct part numbers and quantity is printed on bags. Responsible for putting packaged parts in permanent locations in shipping areas. Pre-pack specified sets required for inventory and maintain levels requested by sale requirements. Complies with safety standards and company policies. Accurately record time. Assist with inventory checks. Operate a bagging machine. Stretch wrapper. Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized. Other duties as assigned.
