Full Job Description Primary Duties:
Will assume full and complete responsibility for assigned customer accounts by establishing effective relationship and close contact with all relevant customer personnel in the marketing and development of Usui's products. Manage the accounts to meet all the needs, resolve any issues, keep abreast of the development and provide desired solutions to the customers and address commercials issues arising from them. Develop marketing strategies to enhance sales growth and contribute to UIC profitability. Cooperate and work effectively with Usui's other global marketing division to ensure Usui's growth or increase market share. Leads all commercial negotiations with the customer, provide world class service for company's long-term growth. Responsible for performing all necessary job functions to fully support projects, manage all commercial issues and address and assist on technical issues with engineering.
Additional responsibilities include:
Ensure that all commercial, engineering, technical and quality issues are discussed and resolved with the appropriate customer and internal departments. All records are properly maintained. Develop all quotation with collaboration from Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing departments accurately and presented on a timely manner to the customer, Analysis and timely, professional communication of business trends, market conditions and competitive changes for company management. Actively participate in achieving company objectives for quality, cost, profitability, and delivery. Keep fully informed of product and manufacturing changes that are internal and external to the organization. Support development of mid- and long-term sales plans and near-term forecast, and competitor information. Facilitate resolution of collection issues for account payable. Prepare presentations and communicate professionally to customers' management, purchasing, and engineering representatives. Coordinate multiple projects and manage multiple accounts concurrently. Ensure company conformance with OSHA, relevant safety and environmental regulations, and customer specific requirements Evaluate business issues and prioritize activities to achieve company's goals. Communicate the changing needs of the marketplace and communicate them to management team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing (BS in Engineering a plus) Sales Engineer experience in the Automotive Industry 3-5 years technical sales experience Conversational Japanese language proficiency a plus Effective communication, presentation, and project management skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications Up to 35% overnight travel including oversea may be required
