Essential Job Functions:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries. Expected to be available during non-traditional business hours in support of customer opportunities, issues, and problems. Possess ability to investigate critical details required to independently generate and submit customer quotations. Approve delivery expedite requests inside of lead time and manage the changes associated with executing such expedites. Complete contract review for new orders and make recommendations or highlight areas of risk. Investigate key variables (sales history/build rates/market trends) to create and maintain part forecasts required to drive purchasing signals for supply chain. Manage customer order book with order entry and revisions. Monitor customer sales backlog for buying practice anomalies. Manage Return Material Authorizations (RMA) Process for defective product return. Complete Invoicing and credit memo process where applicable for NRE payments and account reconciliation Serve as internal focal point acting as voice of the customer within Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Development Daily work will revolve around meeting NMG company goals for the year.Additional Duties:
Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide. Other duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned. Must remain current with, and complete all required training as assigned. Must adhere to Company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task specific safety protocols, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.Qualifications:
Goal-oriented team player able to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with customers and people at all levels of the organization. Able to work under-time sensitive deadlines. Proficiency in the use of computer programs (including Excel) to perform analysis, research, and correspondence. Proficient working with ERP operating systems Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company. Must take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results. Depending on assignment, may be required to use stairs, remain upright and/or seated for prolonged timeframes, intermittently reposition the body per various tasks performed, and use various tools and work-related supplies. May be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one individual.Education:
