Commercial Insurance Associates is hiring an experienced bilingual Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time, fully in-person position. The selected candidate may be based in any one of our three offices: Newark, Delaware Middletown, Delaware Landenberg, Pennsylvania About the Role We are looking for an experienced bilingual Account Manager who is fluent in both English and Spanish, has at least one year of commercial lines insurance experience, and holds an active Property and Casualty license. This is not an entry-level position. The right candidate will be able to independently manage a book of commercial insurance accounts, communicate confidently with English- and Spanish-speaking clients, stay ahead of deadlines, and follow open items through to completion. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, uses good judgment, and does not need to be reminded repeatedly to handle routine responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage and service an assigned book of commercial insurance accounts Serve as the primary point of contact for English- and Spanish-speaking clients Explain coverage, policy changes, carrier requirements, billing issues, and renewal options in both English and Spanish Handle endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, audits, billing inquiries, claims assistance, and general policy service Review policies, endorsements, applications, proposals, and other insurance documents for accuracy Gather information and prepare complete renewal and remarketing submissions Prepare and present proposals and insurance documents to clients Communicate with clients, carriers, underwriters, claims representatives, producers, and internal team members Monitor upcoming renewals and identify accounts that may need additional review or remarketing Track pending items and follow through until they are completed Maintain detailed and accurate records in the agency management system Identify errors, missing information, coverage concerns, and other account issues Support account retention and agency growth by identifying additional coverage needs and opportunities Assist with communication and service needs for Spanish-speaking prospects and clients throughout the agency Required Qualifications Fluency in both English and Spanish At least one year of commercial lines insurance experience Active Property and Casualty insurance license Experience independently managing commercial insurance accounts Experience working directly with clients, carriers, and underwriters Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish Knowledge of common commercial coverages, including: Commercial General Liability Commercial Property Business Auto Workers' Compensation Commercial Umbrella or Excess Liability Inland Marine Experience processing endorsements, certificates, renewals, audits, and policy changes Ability to review policies and identify errors, discrepancies, or missing information Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of activity Experience using an insurance agency management system Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Merit-based advancement and opportunities for growth Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off Training and professional development opportunities Supportive team culture Stable, long-term career opportunities in a resilient industry Consistent Monday through Friday schedule with no nights or weekends A workplace that values accountability, initiative, and work-life balance About Commercial Insurance Associates Commercial Insurance Associates is an independent insurance agency serving businesses throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and surrounding states.
