Job Summary:
Responsible for managing customer orders, ensuring customer satisfaction, supporting revenue growth, resolving order and account issues, and coordinating with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Credit, Accounts Receivable, and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage 2,000+ customer orders annually, ensuring orders are entered and acknowledged within 24 hours. Process complex orders including VMI, consignment, third-party, and inter-company orders. Manage customer pricing, product availability, delivery schedules, quotes, discounts, and packaging requirements. Maintain accurate SAP customer master data, order processing, ATP, and customer outputs such as Order Acknowledgements, ASNs, COAs, and invoices. Monitor orders against forecasts and proactively identify potential shipping, delivery, inventory, and quote-to-cash issues. Resolve customer complaints, escalations, account discrepancies, credits/debits, residuals, and overdue invoice issues. Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Credit, and Accounts Receivable to provide timely customer solutions. Participate in S&OP and Supply Chain meetings and communicate supply and delivery impacts to customers and the team. Identify process gaps and support ISO procedures, SAP reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with Client policies, ISO procedures, HES requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Support team members through knowledge sharing, training, and peer mentoring.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of relevant customer service experience without a degree. Experience in Customer Service, Order Management, or Supply Chain. Strong SAP/ERP experience; SAP order management and master data knowledge strongly preferred. Knowledge of ATP, inventory, product lead times, transportation, and customer delivery processes. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and customer relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex processes, and customer escalations independently. Strong commitment to safety, compliance, quality, and continuous improvement.
