Job Description

ACCOUNT MANAGER
Account Manager is responsible for owning customer relationships, planning and scheduling service work, and coordinating sales support, parts quotes, and project and controls design work across an assigned account base. Does this sound like you? You've managed accounts, equipment, or personnel, and know how to keep it organized and accountable. You've led or coordinated teams, tracked schedules, and made sure the right people and parts showed up where they needed to be. You're comfortable being the go-between — translating technical issues into plans that both customers and technicians can act on. You've got a working knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, managing relationships and coordinating across internal teams to meet their needs. Plan and schedule service work, sales support, parts quotes, project management, controls design, and system upgrade projects. Analyze service reports to identify corrective actions, upgrade opportunities, and customer value enhancements. Track work order costs, service agreement profitability, and billing activity with a high level of accuracy. Identify and develop upselling, cross-selling, and service enhancement opportunities. Collaborate closely with Operations, Service Technicians, and Sales Engineers to deliver on customer commitments.
Qualifications:
Strong account management, customer relationship, and organizational skills; able to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams). Basic understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, or related mechanical/electrical technologies. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and financial awareness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams and customers. Commitment to safety compliance and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Training & Education:
Military technical training or formal education in Business, Project Management, or other related field. Military training in the following fields desired: Project Management, Recruiting, Sales, Technical Support, Electronics/Electrical, or other related fields. Schools from the Navy, Marines, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard preferred. Experience leading teams, managing equipment, accounts, or logistics preferred. Prefer candidates with the following Military accomplishments: Meritorious Promotions, NCO of the Quarter/Year, or other Command recognition for superior performance; career progression ahead of peers; ongoing or advanced education.
