Job Description

Client Coordinator | Part-Time | $16-$19/hour + Uncapped Performance Incentives Coastal Cleaning Company is looking for a highly organized, personable, and motivated Client Coordinator to help lead our next phase of growth. This is not a traditional receptionist position, and it isn't a job where you'll spend your day waiting for the phone to ring. Our Client Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for prospective clients, current clients, and referral partners . You'll help generate new business, turn inquiries into booked services, develop relationships in the communities we serve, coordinate the client experience, and help ensure the people who choose Coastal want to continue choosing us. We're looking for someone who is comfortable starting conversations, following up consistently, building relationships, and asking for the business—without making people feel like they're being "sold." If you're naturally organized, communicate exceptionally well, enjoy working independently, and like seeing your effort turn into measurable results, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Build new business. Identify and pursue opportunities for new residential, short-term rental, commercial, and referral-partner relationships. This may include researching prospects, making introductions, sending outreach, following up with leads, networking, and developing creative ways to get Coastal in front of the right people. Convert inquiries into clients. Respond promptly and professionally to prospective clients, answer questions, explain our services, follow up when appropriate, and guide qualified prospects through the booking and onboarding process. Own the client relationship. Serve as a consistent point of contact from the first inquiry forward. Maintain excellent communication, coordinate scheduling needs, resolve routine client concerns, and make sure clients always know what to expect. Build referral relationships. Develop relationships with local businesses, real estate professionals, short-term rental owners and managers, and other organizations that serve people who may need Coastal's services. Create repeat business. Follow up after services, encourage reviews and referrals, identify opportunities for recurring service, reconnect with past clients, and help make sure great clients don't quietly disappear. Keep the machine organized. Maintain accurate client records, lead statuses, follow-up dates, notes, schedules, and other information in our systems so opportunities don't fall through the cracks. Help us get better. Pay attention to what prospective clients ask for, what objections you're hearing, why we're winning or losing opportunities, and what clients are telling us. We want someone who will bring ideas to the table—not simply follow a script. This Role Has Real Ownership We're intentionally building this position differently. You won't need approval for every routine conversation or follow-up. You'll be trained on our services, pricing, policies, systems, and standards so you can confidently represent Coastal and take ownership of the client experience. There will be clear expectations and measurable goals, but we aren't interested in micromanaging someone who is doing excellent work. As the company grows, we expect this position to grow with it. Our Incentives Begin on Day One We believe the person helping create Coastal's growth should share in the results. In addition to hourly compensation, the Client Coordinator has multiple opportunities to earn performance incentives, including: New-client acquisition incentives Client retention incentives Referral and partnership development incentives Monthly performance incentives tied to clearly defined goals and scorecard results Certain acquisition and retention incentives are uncapped . If your work produces exceptional results, we don't believe your earning opportunity should stop simply because you've had a great month. When Coastal wins, you win. We'll explain the complete incentive structure during the interview process so you'll know exactly how performance is measured and rewarded. Compensation & Growth This position begins with a structured introductory period designed to increase compensation as you learn the business and demonstrate your ability to operate independently. Days 1-30: $16.00/hour Days 31-60: $17.50/hour Beginning Day 61: $19.00/hour Performance incentive eligibility begins on Day One and is separate from base hourly compensation. Following the introductory period, employees are eligible for ongoing performance reviews and annual compensation increases, with a standard 3% annual increase for employees meeting expectations. You Might Be Our Person If You… Communicate professionally but still sound like an actual human Are comfortable picking up the phone and introducing yourself to someone you've never met Follow up without needing someone to remind you Can be persistent without becoming pushy Write clear, polished emails and messages Are exceptionally organized and don't let leads or details disappear Enjoy relationship-building and naturally remember people and conversations Can confidently explain pricing and services Aren't intimidated by hearing "no" Know when to solve something yourself and when something genuinely needs to be escalated Learn technology quickly and are comfortable working across several systems Enjoy measurable goals and knowing exactly what you're working toward Take ownership when something belongs to you Get genuine satisfaction from turning an opportunity into a client Want your earning potential to increase when your performance increases Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, property management, real estate, sales, business development, home services, or client coordination could translate especially well to this position—but we're more interested in finding the right person than the perfect résumé. This Probably Isn't the Right Fit If… You prefer waiting for work to be assigned to you. You strongly dislike sales, prospecting, or initiating conversations. You need step-by-step direction for routine decisions. You tend to avoid following up because you don't want to "bother" people. Or you're looking for a position where success simply means showing up and completing a predetermined task list. This role requires initiative. Some days you'll be responding to people who already want our services. Other days you'll be responsible for creating the opportunity yourself. Schedule This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow as Coastal grows. Much of the work can be planned independently, but consistent weekday availability is important because you'll be communicating with clients, prospective clients, vendors, and referral partners during normal business hours. We'll discuss the expected weekly schedule and availability requirements during the interview process. About Coastal Cleaning Company Coastal Cleaning Company provides professional cleaning services throughout our service area with an emphasis on reliability, communication, and a consistently excellent client experience. We're entering a new phase of the company and intentionally building a business that is system-driven rather than personality-driven . That means clear processes, transparent expectations, measurable performance, modern technology, and team members who are trusted to own their responsibilities. We're looking for someone who wants more than an administrative job. We want someone who can become an important part of Coastal's growth—and be rewarded for helping create it. If you're organized, confident, resourceful, great with people, and the idea of helping grow a business sounds exciting rather than intimidating, we'd love to hear from you.
