Key Account Manager Location:

Baltimore, MD We are a growing specialty manufacturing company serving customers in the life sciences, laboratory, food safety, and industrial sectors. We are seeking a motivated and organized Key Account Manager to support and grow customer relationships while helping manage day-to-day commercial operations. This position is ideal for a sales professional with a few years of experience who is looking to grow within a technical manufacturing environment. Experience in biotech, microbiology, laboratory products, or culture media is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with existing customer accounts Coordinate customer meetings, follow-ups, and ongoing communication Maintain accurate customer activity and sales pipeline information within Pipedrive CRM Manage and update customer price lists and commercial records Assist with quotations, order coordination, and customer support activities Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to support customer needs Support new business development efforts and lead generation activities Prepare sales reports, account summaries, and customer forecasts Interface with Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP system for order, pricing, and customer information management Help ensure a high level of responsiveness and customer satisfaction Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, customer support, or a related commercial role Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently with customers, distributors, and internal teams Comfortable leading customer conversations, facilitating meetings, and maintaining productive ongoing client relationships Possesses a proactive and customer-focused sales mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, follow through on action items, and help drive account growth Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities simultaneously Experience using CRM systems required; Pipedrive experience preferred ERP experience is a plus, particularly Microsoft Dynamics GP Biotech, microbiology, laboratory products, manufacturing, or culture media experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Teams Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced small business environment What We Offer
