This position reports to:
Sales Manager __ As an OEM Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing multiple account strategies focused on growth, profitability and customer satisfaction while coordinating all sales activities and managing resolution of customer problems. Responsibilities include assisting with project quotations, order management, customer training and demand generation to position ABB as the preferred vendor. While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in the Chicagoland area. This role is contributing to the Electrification division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: Serve as the primary liaison for OEM customers, driving strategic account planning, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution. Develop and execute sales and account strategies-including opportunity prioritization, training plans, and recovery actions-to achieve growth, margin, and marketshare targets. Identify and secure new OEM customers through proactive outreach, networking, and crossfunctional collaboration while monitoring competitive activity and market trends. Communicate customer needs internally and create added value through coordinated sales efforts, crossselling, and deep understanding of customer business drivers. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Bachelor's Degree in STEM (preferred) or Business and 6+ years' experience, OR, Associate's Degree and 8+ years' experience, OR HS Diploma and 10+ years' experience in electrical industry. Direct sales experience in the electrical industry required. Demonstrated strong verbal/written and presentation skills to all levels in an organization Demonstrated strong problem solving, selling and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage time Broad business acumen, ability to plan and execute on plans Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed - 50% Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
