This role serves as the primary liaison between insurance carriers, producers, and clients. The Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing new business, renewals, policy servicing, and claims support. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently resolving client issues. Key Responsibilities Quote, market, and generate new business across all personal lines of coverage. Provide consistent, accurate, and timely communication to clients through verbal and written correspondence. Assist clients in understanding coverage options and determining their personal insurance needs. Manage and service existing accounts, including policy changes, applications, certificates, renewals, and claims follow-up. Review renewals proactively and remarket accounts when appropriate. Maintain strong carrier relationships. Promote client retention through relationship building and exceptional service. Support other Personal Lines team members during peak workloads or absences. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Prior experience in the insurance industry, specifically personal lines Property & Casualty. Account management experience preferred. Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and agency management systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
