STAY Newport | Newport, Rhode Island STAY Newport is seeking a highly organized, proactive Account Manager to support an Account Executive in managing a portfolio of high-end vacation rental properties. The Account Manager will help execute the day-to-day work required to deliver guest-ready homes, exceptional guest experiences, well-maintained properties, strong homeowner relationships, and excellent rental performance. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of hospitality, property management, client service, operations, and revenue management. Key Responsibilities Help ensure properties are consistently guest-ready, well maintained, properly presented, and operating to STAY Newport standards Support the Property Management team in overseeing maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, general upkeep, and property-specific needs Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance personnel, inspectors, vendors, and internal team members to ensure property issues are addressed efficiently Manage and maintain property calendars, availability, and listings across booking platforms Ensure listing information, property details, amenities, photos, and availability remain accurate and up to date Communicate directly with homeowners regarding day-to-day property matters, upcoming needs, maintenance items, rental activity, and other account-related issues Support the Account Executive with new account onboarding, client relations, homeowner meetings, and business development initiatives Execute pricing, availability, minimum-stay, and listing strategies established by the Account Executive Monitor booking activity, property performance, and market conditions and flag opportunities to improve occupancy and rental revenue Work with STAY Newport's reservations and revenue infrastructure to maximize the financial performance of each property Monitor upcoming arrivals, departures, special requests, and property-specific requirements Proactively identify operational, maintenance, presentation, inventory, or guest-experience issues before they become larger problems Maintain a strong understanding of each assigned property, its homeowner, expectations, amenities, operating requirements, and rental strategy Help onboard new properties and coordinate the operational steps required to bring them successfully into the STAY Newport portfolio Follow issues through to resolution and maintain clear communication between homeowners, the Account Executive, and STAY Newport's internal teams What Success Looks Like A successful Account Manager helps create a portfolio where: Properties are consistently clean, maintained, stocked, and guest-ready Guests receive an exceptional experience Homeowners receive responsive, professional communication Maintenance and property issues are identified and resolved quickly Calendars, listings, and availability are accurate across platforms Pricing and rental strategies are consistently implemented Internal teams have the information they need to execute effectively Properties achieve strong occupancy, rental revenue, and overall financial performance New accounts transition smoothly into the STAY Newport platform The Account Executive has the support and operating leverage needed to focus on homeowner relationships, portfolio strategy, and business development Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Proactive and comfortable taking ownership A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Able to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously Comfortable communicating with homeowners, guests, vendors, and internal teams Hospitality-minded with high standards for service and presentation Financially aware and interested in the rental performance of the properties they manage Resourceful and calm when unexpected issues arise Comfortable using technology, property management systems, and booking platforms Familiar with Newport and the surrounding area Experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, property management, real estate, luxury service, account management, or operations is preferred, but we are most interested in finding someone with strong judgment, work ethic, communication skills, and the ability to execute.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
