We're recruiting an experienced Logistics Sales Coordinator to drive new business, manage key accounts, and expand our market presence. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a strong understanding of freight and logistics and especially for someone bringing a transferable book of business. This is a sales focused role responsible for generating revenue, closing new accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will prospect, develop leads, negotiate rates, and work closely with operations to ensure exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities Prospect and acquire new clients through cold outreach, networking, and industry relationships Manage and grow an existing customer base, ensuring high levels of retention Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements Develop customized logistics solutions based on customer needs Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful execution of shipments Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Leverage industry contacts and (preferred) book of business to accelerate growth Requirements Experience required: 2+ years in logistics/freight sales (brokerage, 3PL, trucking, LTL/FTL, intermodal, etc.) Proven ability to generate new business and meet sales quotas Strong understanding of transportation markets, rate structures, and customer needs Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Highly self-motivated and results-driven
Preferred:
Transferable book of business or established industry network Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willing to travel for trade showsPay:
