Glance Employment Type:
Full-Time, Exempt Location:
On-Site/Old Hickory, TN Travel:

Approximately 50% to local/regional client sites/customer locations.

Required Experience:

Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, customer relationship management, or a related field.

Schedule:

Standard full-time schedule. Work hours may occasionally vary to support customer needs, travel, and operational priorities.

Training:

This position will work closely with the Mechanical Inspection Sales Leader to align support with priorities. What You'll Do Develop and manage a pipeline of preventive maintenance and service agreement opportunities.

Prospect and build relationships with new and existing commercial and industrial customers.

Conduct in-person customer meetings, networking activities, cold calls, site visits, association involvement, and lunch-and-learn presentations.

Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities, assess customer needs, and develop tailored service solutions.

Coordinate customer site surveys for mechanical, HVAC, roofing, controls, and related facility systems.

Prepare and present professional proposals that clearly communicate scope, value, pricing, and recommendations.

Follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns, and secure service agreements.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, opportunities, and account activity within CRM systems.

Track sales activities, forecasts, proposals, customer visits, and progress toward established goals.

Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor for facility maintenance and service needs.

Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, regulations, and best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational success. What We're Looking For We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating solutions, and helping customers proactively manage their facility maintenance needs. Required Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, customer relationship management, or a related role.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Ability to identify customer needs and help develop service-based solutions.

Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities.

Comfort conducting site visits and working with internal teams to gather information for customer proposals.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Experience in mechanical, HVAC, controls, facilities services, building maintenance, construction, or related field, is preferred.

What Success Looks Like:

Meeting or exceeding preventative maintenance contract sales goals.

Building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Completing regular face-to-face customer visits.

Creating accurate, timely proposals and following up consistently.

Maintaining CRM activity, customer notes, proposals, and sales progress.

Developing strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and local industry organizations.
