Job Description

Sell and grow GFL Environmental's Used Motor Oil (UMO) recovery and recycling services within an assigned territory. Responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing accounts, and preparing sales contracts with a working knowledge of pricing, service costs, and equipment, in coordination with the Commercial Sales Manager or Branch Manager. Essential Functions Prospect and secure new UMO customers while maintaining and expanding existing accounts. Build working knowledge of used motor oil regulations, handling, and recycling requirements and assist customers with compliance. Travel within assigned territory to assess customer needs and recommend UMO service solutions. Manage sales leads and opportunities through cold-calling, referrals, and provided sales tools. Increase market share by expanding UMO services in new and existing market segments. Understand pricing, service costs, and margin expectations for UMO services. Prepare price quotes, credit terms, and sales contracts. Deliver effective sales presentations and recommend service upgrades. Monitor competitor activity and assist with pricing adjustments as needed. Participate in industry events and meetings to promote GFL's UMO services. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 1-2 years in environmental services or used motor oil industry preferred. 5-7 years of sales experience preferred. Environmental or UMO-related training a plus. Valid driver's license required. Knowledge & Skills Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand pricing, margins, and service costs. Strong organizational, presentation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Working Conditions Frequent driving within assigned territory. Occasional outdoor exposure and moderate noise levels. #GFLTalent
