Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Manage and develop strong relationships with key corporate clients, serving as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts. Monitor service levels, SLAs, and overall account performance, handling escalations and working with internal teams to resolve issues. Analyze client travel spend, patterns, and performance data to identify optimization opportunities. Conduct regular client review meetings and strategic business reviews to assess account profitability and satisfaction. Develop and implement account plans focused on client retention, satisfaction, and growth. Identify and pursue opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts. Collaborate with operations, finance, revenue management, marketing, and business development teams. Support client projects such as travel policy reviews, technology implementations, and process improvements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of account management experience within the travel industry. Strong understanding of corporate travel and customer experience principles. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and manage complex escalations. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create actionable strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with GDS platforms and travel-specific technology (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Concur). Experience with travel management company (TMC) operations preferred. CPIM certification is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong interpersonal skills, especially for engaging with senior-level clients.
