Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations at our Lindale facility. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in heavy equipment. In this role, you will hold full P&L responsibility, drive revenue through strategic buying and selling of machinery, optimize our rental fleet utilization, and manage our service shop to ensure peak operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Equipment Sales & Acquisitions:

Actively source, evaluate, and purchase heavy equipment at auctions and through private channels. Drive retail sales and manage inventory turnover to maximize margins.

Rental Fleet Management:

Oversee the equipment rental division, ensuring high utilization rates, competitive pricing strategies, and seamless customer experiences.

Shop & Service Operations:

Manage the physical shop facility, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure all inventory and customer machines are inspected, repaired, and field-ready.

Financial & P&L Leadership:

Hold full responsibility for the location's Profit & Loss. Monitor expenses, analyze operational metrics, and implement strategies to drive sustainable profitability and business growth.

Team Leadership & Operations:

Direct day-to-day operations, foster a culture of accountability and safety, and work collaboratively with ownership and office administration to streamline business processes. Qualifications Proven management experience within the heavy construction equipment industry (sales, rentals, or dealership operations). Strong working knowledge of heavy machinery valuations, specifications, and maintenance processes. Demonstrated success in managing a P&L and driving business profitability. Excellent negotiation skills for equipment purchasing and retail sales. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Aggressive profit-sharing structure directly tied to the business's bottom-line performance.

$75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
