Job Description
Position Description:
The Rental Manager will be directly responsible for working with current and potential customers in renting Zimmerer Kubota equipment. This person will have extensive knowledge of all equipment in the rental field and will be actively involved in all aspects of the rental process, including preparing rental agreements to the return and inspection of equipment. The position will interact with the companys various departments including Sales, Parts and Service.Position Responsibilities:
Determines/understands customer equipment needs through questioning and qualifying; provides alternative equipment suggestions to customers, if appropriate, based upon information obtained and comprehensive knowledge of all Zimmerer Kubota equipment available. Negotiates price and volume of original orders by maximizing rate and volume. Obtains all necessary customer information; financing and/or credit, finalizes and secures equipment for dates needed, places the rental/purchase order in the computer system, organizes transportation for orders. Communicates with production for upcoming equipment requirements. Administers all aspects of rental contracts; accurate rental dates, rates and all ancillary charges, amendments, suspensions, terminations, filing of contracts and related paperwork, and checking invoices and credit memos against contract files. Addresses customer questions and concerns in a professional manner in order to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer and Agricultural Equipment Rentals. Supports sales and marketing efforts by performing prospecting calls, forwarding sales leads and incoming inquiries to the sales group, and acting as a liaison for marketing in respect to product promotions and rental programs. Creates weekly management reports and provides updates to the CEO. Ensures all activity and customer transactions are performed within Agricultural safety policies. May be responsible for other tasks, including but not limited to: picking up and delivering equipment, stocking and maintaining inventory, loading and unloading equipment, and/or performing basic maintenance to equipment. Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Essential Requirements - Valid Drivers license Equipment rental industry experience preferred Experience with forecasting Knowledgeable with P & L statements Comprehensive knowledge of Zimmerer Kubota equipment and pricing policy Strong telephone skills Customer service aptitude Effective written and oral communication skills Solid computer skills Forklift experience Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs Business degree preferredSimilar jobs in Van Alstyne, TX
