About Pit Viper Pit Viper is an eyewear company based in South Salt Lake, Utah that designs, develops, and manufactures sports performance equipment and lifestyle pieces. Our mission is to bring the party to performance eyewear and offer durable, functional, and expressive products at an exceptional value, all while making you laugh. Our vision is to build the most fun brand the world has ever known. You're welcome. Position Overview The Sales Enablement Specialist is the operational backbone of our wholesale business. This role exists so our sales team can be in market selling rather than behind a desk entering orders. Sales enablement is not sales operations in the narrow sense. Order flow and account administration are the floor, not the ceiling. This role also owns the reporting our sales team runs on: the account scorecard, rep activity tracking, prospect pipeline hygiene, and the sales materials our reps and key accounts need to do their jobs. We sell through roughly fourteen independent rep groups and a growing set of national key accounts. Every one of those relationships generates order flow, questions, samples, catalogs, price lists and reporting. Today that work is spread across several people and it is not being fully covered. This role consolidates it. This is an experienced hire. We are not looking for someone to grow into this. We need someone who can own wholesale order flow and EDI from month one, because there is no capacity to train them. This is an in-office role. The work is time-sensitive, it requires direct communication with sales, operations and customer service throughout the day, and it does not function on a partial schedule. Key Responsibilities Order flow and account administration Own the order-to-invoice process for wholesale accounts, end to end, without handing off. Enter and process orders where reps or accounts cannot self-serve, and drive them toward self-service in Shopify B2B where they can. Own SPS Commerce and EDI end to end for key accounts: setup, mapping, exception handling, troubleshooting and retailer compliance requirements. Monitor and clear open orders, backorders and allocation issues. Proactively contact accounts about out-of-stock items rather than waiting to be asked. Maintain customer records, price levels and credit status in NetSuite. Support corporate and bulk order inquiries, which are largely inbound and transactional. Reporting and the account scorecard Own the account scorecard: accounts ordering in the trailing twelve months by rep group, order frequency, reactivations, accounts sliding from 90 to 180 days, territory revenue against prior year. Maintain the
CRM:
prospect lists, rep activity, account status, and the data hygiene that makes it usable. Produce weekly and monthly sales reporting for the VP of Sales and the specialty and key account managers. Track rep compliance with contractual obligations: activity reporting, event and trade show attendance, insurance certificates. Support key account assortment and planogram forecast inputs. Rep and account enablement Manage sample allocation, catalogs, line sheets and sell sheets to rep groups and accounts.
Own rep onboarding:
agreements, system access, price lists, territory setup, training on ordering tools. Maintain and distribute current price lists, capsule assortments and program terms. Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for rep groups, so reps go to one place rather than three. Support display and merchandising program logistics, including shipping displays to doors and tracking placement. Cross-functional coordination Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing on anything touching wholesale order flow, pricing or retailer-facing assets. Partner with Supply Chain on inbound timing and allocation for wholesale commitments. Flag recurring operational problems and pricing discrepancies rather than working around them.
Support trade show logistics:
samples, booth materials, follow-up order entry. Boundaries Clear lines, because these functions have historically blurred. Inbound logistics, freight, customs, 3PL receiving and inventory accuracy sit with Supply Chain. This role partners on timing and allocation but does not own inbound. Celigo integration flows and NetSuite supply chain data sit with Supply Chain. This role reports integration problems; it does not maintain the flows. Demand forecasting sits with Finance. Escalated DTC tickets, Gorgias workflow and general consumer service sit with Customer Service. What Success Looks Like In 90 days: every wholesale order flows through a documented process with no manual handoffs. SPS and EDI are owned and stable. Open orders are cleared weekly. Reps know who to contact and get answers the same day.
In six months:
the account scorecard runs without anyone building it by hand. The CRM is accurate enough that the VP of Sales makes decisions from it. Reps have current price lists, capsule sheets and samples without asking twice.
In twelve months:
sales managers spend their time in market and with accounts, not on order entry. We can answer "which accounts are slipping and which reps are working" in thirty seconds. Qualifications Required 4 or more years in sales operations, sales support, or wholesale customer operations. Direct NetSuite experience. This is not a nice to have. You will live in it daily and there is no one to teach you. Hands-on EDI ownership , SPS Commerce strongly preferred. Setup, mapping and exception handling, not just awareness. Direct experience with wholesale or B2B order flow, not just DTC customer service. Able to build and maintain reporting independently, without a developer or an analyst. Advanced spreadsheet ability. Comfortable with data cleanup and reconciliation. Excellent written communication. Much of this role is being clear with reps and buyers in writing. Ability to manage many parallel workflows and hold deadlines without being chased. Full-time in-office availability. Strongly preferred Working fluency with AI tools, Claude in particular. We use it heavily across operations and reporting, and the people who get the most out of this role will be the ones who use it well. Experience with Shopify B2B or comparable wholesale ordering platforms. Experience supporting an independent rep network. Familiarity with retail calendars, prebook cycles and planogram resets. CRM implementation or administration experience. Background in sporting goods, outdoor, action sports or eyewear.
