Job Description
Account Manager Responsibilities Conducting credit checks on new and potential customers. Overseeing routine department activities, such as disbursing checks to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time. Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management and government agencies. Implementing debt collection policies and regulations of the company. Implementing deadlines for invoicing and payment collection. Monitoring the invoicing and money collection processes. Ensuring the timely collection of payments. Oversees negotiating with customers in cases when non-payment occurs. Preparing monthly feedback reports on payment collections and all other financial transactions. Maintaining complete and accurate financial records. Training and mentoring of staff members in the department. All other duties as assigned. Account Manager Requirements A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent demonstrated prior work experience. At least 4 years of experience as accounts receivable/payable manager or supervisor retail sales experience. The ability to work accurately and independently with sound judgement. Experience with accounting software and General Ledger and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills. An eye for detail along with excellent analytical skills. Excellent report writing skills. Strong time management skills.
