MELD Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused, and organized Account Manager to support existing customers while driving new business opportunities. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, business development, and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences, identify growth opportunities, and support the sales pipeline from lead qualification through account growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and comfortable working in a technical, manufacturing-focused environment. This position plays a critical role in strengthening customer partnerships, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring seamless execution of sales and account management activities. Key Responsibilities 1. Account Management & Customer Success Serve as the primary point of contact for current MELD machine customers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership. Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, including parts, upgrades, services, and additional MELD solutions. Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer needs. Monitor account activity and maintain accurate customer records within CRM systems. Conduct regular customer outreach to understand business objectives, identify challenges, and uncover new opportunities. 2. Business Development & Lead Management Manage inbound and outbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, trade shows, and third-party sources. Qualify prospective customers and assess alignment with MELD products and services. Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings, demonstrations, and discovery calls for Business Development personnel. Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead, opportunity, and pipeline information within CRM systems. Collaborate closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to improve lead qualification processes and customer engagement strategies. Utilize third-party prospecting and lead generation tools to identify potential customers and expand market opportunities. 3. Sales Operations & Coordination Coordinate and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with prospective customers and partners. Support the development of proposals, presentations, sales materials, and customer documentation. Travel as needed to attend trade shows, industry conferences, customer meetings, and other business development events. Utilize third-party tools and platforms for lead generation and prospect identification Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, customer success, or a related sales role. Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred Experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, advanced manufacturing, or technical sales environments. Familiarity with lead generation and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of engineering concepts, advanced manufacturing technologies, or industrial processes.
