Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Account Manager, Transport & Logistics Technology is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling advanced tracking solutions including GPS trackers, IoT devices, and cellular/sensor enabled smart labels to customers across the transportation, logistics, and supply chain sectors. This role combines solution based selling with strong logistics domain knowledge to help clients improve shipment visibility, reduce operational risk, and enhance end to end supply chain performance. This role will prioritize prospecting for new business, building customer relationships, and developing strategies to promote selling our digital tracking technologies logistics solution. The position also requires understanding transportation workflows, negotiating contracts, and coordinating closely with business line and internal operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions through managing customer interactions, aligning with operations, and resolving service related issues. The ideal candidate brings experience in logistics or IoT technology sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to translate customer operational challenges into tailored visibility solutions. By combining technical product understanding with logistics industry knowledge, this role plays a key part in helping clients modernize their operations and enabling real time supply chain digitization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Bring deep industry expertise in transport & logistics, leveraging prior experience with IoT tracking technologies (trackers, sensors, smart labels) to accelerate G+D's growth strategy and support expansion goals in North America region.

Acquire and grow large transport & logistics accounts by selling IoT tracking solutions (trackers, smart labels, visibility platforms).Lead C level engagements and negotiate complex commercial agreements to secure long-term strategic partnership.

Serve as the primary business contact for key accounts, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.

Represent customer needs internally and coordinate with operations, customer service, and technical teams.

Drive repeat business and account expansion through relationship building and consultative selling.

Promote G+D's IoT Solutions portfolio and leverage global reference customers to strengthen value propositions in the logistics sector.

Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records in line with industry sales best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
5+ years of B2B sales experience in logistics, transport, IoT, telematics, or supply‑chain technology, with a proven record of hitting or exceeding sales targetsDeep industry knowledge of transportation, warehousing, freight operations, and supply‑chain workflowsStrong negotiation and communication skills, ability to pitch complex solutions and close high‑value enterprise dealsExperience selling IoT tracking devices, GPS trackers, smart labels, sensors, or visibility solutions with strong industry knowledge in transport and logistics IoT sectorConsultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions.

Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Power BI) and strong pipeline/forecast management.

High urgency, self‑motivation, and ability to work independently to drive fast deal cycles and support aggressive growth targets.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 annually, with bonus eligibility of $30,000 - $40,000 annually.
