Duties & Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair rental fleet equipment, including small engines and midsized construction equipment. Diagnose mechanical and operating issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, ignition, and related systems, then complete needed repairs. Load and unload rental equipment and keep equipment, the yard, and wash bay clean, organized, and rental-ready. Process rental contracts and invoices while helping ensure equipment is available, maintained, and ready for customers. Explain correct equipment operation, complete light customer repairs, and resolve rental questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Respond to offsite service calls as needed to troubleshoot and support rental equipment.
Requirements Required:
Mechanical aptitude or hands-on repair knowledge for maintaining and troubleshooting rental or similar equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle equipment questions, rental concerns, and customer needs professionally. Ability to read parts diagrams, schematics, and service materials used to diagnose and repair equipment. Comfortable using basic computer systems for rental contracts, invoices, and related branch tasks. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of loading, unloading, and equipment repair work. Must complete a pre-employment background check.
Preferred:
Small engine knowledge and hands-on repair experience. Familiarity with electrical AC/DC, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, ignition, fuel, and diesel starting and running systems. Experience servicing midsized construction equipment, generators, air compressors, pumps, heating equipment, or gas, hydraulic, and electric saws in-house training is provided. #SJ1
Compensation:
