Job Description Overview The Office of The Vice President for Research and Economic Development, External Engagement & Support Office is looking for Student Assistants to help with various tasks as needed. Hours can vary according to class schedules, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Responsibilities Assist the Event Director with the following duties: Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, decor, and audio/visual equipment. Assist clients with pre-event planning, coordination of event setup, as well as audio-visual technical assistant. May perform duties alone or collaboratively with supervisors and/or event operations staff. Monitor event inventory of equipment, supplies, and furniture etc. Monitor event space to ensure cleanliness and organization. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Enrolled student at
Auburn University Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expectations:
Must maintain a neat appearance. Must be a team player and willing to help where needed with any project that comes up.
Physical Demands:
