Join the Team Behind The Original Honey Soap pennyB's is hiring a dependable and friendly Market Assistant to represent our family owned, handmade honey based skincare business at local farmers markets and community events. This is a part time weekend position with most shifts taking place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in Columbia, Sonora, and surrounding areas. Hours and locations will vary depending on our event schedule. Responsibilities Transport market products and booth supplies when needed Set up and break down the complete market booth Arrange products and keep the booth clean and organized Greet customers and explain pennyB's products Process customer purchases Restock products throughout the event Help track inventory and keep products secure Represent pennyB's in a friendly, professional manner Requirements Must be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Must have reliable transportation to Columbia and surrounding areas Must be dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Must be friendly and comfortable speaking with customers Must be able to lift and carry boxes, tables, tents, and other booth equipment Must be comfortable standing and working outdoors for several hours Retail, market, or customer service experience is helpful but not required Training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys local markets, handmade products, and working with people.
