Job Description

The Promotions & Events Coordinator will work directly with the Special Events and Promotions Manager with the execution of all casino promotions and special events. The Promotions & Events Coordinator will assist in the coordination and execution of all casino promotions and special events. Assist with all drawings, slot/table tournaments, gift giveaways and off property events. Set up and breaking down of the promotion area. Manages inventory of promotional items. Create and maintain files related to any promotions/events. Ensures all promotions are communicated property wide. Must be able to memorize all promotions and accurately answer any guest questions. Acts in a courteous and professional manner and exhibits a positive, outgoing personality. Be able to react quickly and problem solve. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which will vary depending on business needs. Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. Prepares promotion/contest rules, waivers, and release forms for digital, social media etc. Supervises prize inventory and awarding of prizes at events. Attends all applicable training courses, meetings, pre-shifts, check-ins, outreach, promotions with full knowledge of operating hours, staffing, menu selections and pricing, venue availability and is responsible for the hosts knowledge of the same. Complies with marketing and promotions schedules which includes but is not limited to check-ins, office time, meetings, visitations, outreach, work shifts, social media, phone shifts in a timely and efficient manner, follows up with all while constantly reviewing table and guest list reservations updating management. Assists with Entertainment as assigned. Performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 1 year experience in guest service, gaming preferred. Knowledge of marketing program and/or ability to learn. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; and related player system software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and guest service skills. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively as a team. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must work all special events and promotions. Work in a very fast paced environment. Ability to sit and stand for long durations of time. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
