Job Description
Graceful Decor is seeking dependable and hardworking team members to assist with the setup and teardown of weddings, receptions and other special events throughout the Denver and Aurora area. This is a part-time, on-call position that is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has some event setup experience and is available during weekends and evenings. Work hours will vary depending on our event schedule. Responsibilities Load and unload event décor, furniture, flowers and equipment Set up tables, chairs, backdrops, draping, centerpieces and decorative displays Assist with arranging wedding stages and reception areas Follow design plans and instructions from the event lead Handle décor items carefully to prevent damage Keep work areas clean, organized and safe Tear down décor after events and prepare items for transportation Work efficiently to complete setups before scheduled event start times Communicate professionally with team members, venue staff and clients Qualifications Some previous event setup, wedding décor, hospitality, moving or warehouse experience preferred Dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Able to work well as part of a team Able to stand, bend and move for extended periods Able to lift and carry décor, tables and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation to event locations throughout Denver and Aurora Weekend and evening availability is required What We Offer Competitive pay of $22 per hour, based on experience Flexible, event-based scheduling Opportunities to work at beautiful weddings and special events Potential for additional hours and increased responsibilities A professional, creative and supportive team environment Schedule This is an on-call position. Most shifts will take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Setup shifts may occur during the day, while teardown shifts may take place late at night.
