About The Company:

Our client is a mission-driven research nonprofit based in Washington, DC. The organization offers a collaborative environment and is seeking a marketing professional who is interested in supporting meaningful initiatives through research, communications, and audience engagement. The Marketing Coordinator will provide day-to-day support for marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, events, research, and reporting. This role is ideal for an organized and creative professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of marketing and can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate social media activities and assist with planning and execution of marketing-related events Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team, including scheduling, database updates, and CRM maintenance Conduct research on industry developments, target audiences, and emerging marketing opportunities Assist in developing promotional initiatives designed to increase visibility and support organizational objectives Prepare marketing reports, presentations, and data-driven materials for internal teams Review campaign and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Support additional marketing projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

2-3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably with exposure to digital campaigns, social media, or events Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience with CRM systems, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent written and verbal communication Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative with limited direction Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree highly preferred, but not required

Additional Details:

This is a fully onsite contract opportunity in Washington, DC expected to last approximately 3-4 months. Candidates should be local to the area and available to work Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
