Astro Skate is looking for a Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator to help grow our business by building partnerships with local schools, churches, daycares, camps, youth organizations, and community groups. You'll be selling the most fun product in the world—roller skating—and helping families create unforgettable memories. This is a highly interactive, people-focused position for someone who enjoys networking, organizing events, and seeing the results of their hard work. What You'll Do Visit local schools, churches, daycares, camps, and community organizations to introduce Astro Skate and build lasting relationships. Book school fundraisers, field trips, private events, birthday parties, and group outings. Coordinate and promote fundraising events from start to finish. Develop new community partnerships and maintain existing relationships. Represent Astro Skate at community events, festivals, networking events, and local expos. Deliver promotional materials and marketing packets throughout the community. Make phone calls, send emails, and follow up with prospective customers. Help plan and execute marketing campaigns and special events. Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and bookings. Work closely with management to increase attendance and grow revenue. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly, outgoing, and confident meeting new people. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Organized with excellent time management skills. Comfortable making phone calls and conducting in-person visits. Professional and dependable. A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing. Goal-oriented with a positive attitude. Excited to become involved in the Brandon community. Qualifications Marketing, sales, community outreach, or business development experience is preferred. Event planning or fundraising experience is a plus. Customer service experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and a dependable personal vehicle. Must be willing to travel locally throughout the Brandon and surrounding areas for community outreach. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when transporting marketing materials or event supplies.
