Full Job Description Description:
The Coordinator, Partnership Activation, assists in implementing activation and execution of all contractually obligated sponsorship elements. This person will build strong relationships with current partners to aid in the renewal and retention of sponsors and work to continuously increase the level of service and support offered by the partnership marketing department to corporate partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Director and Manager in the day-to-day management and strategic execution of the Club's Main & Founding Partners, ensuring all contractual elements and activation initiatives are delivered at the highest level. Oversee and manage Partnership Ambassadors, providing direction, scheduling coordination, and on-site supervision to ensure the successful execution of partner activations and events. Gather, plan and execute all contractual elements for each corporate partner. Collaborates with the partnership marketing team on the development of innovative activation proposals. Deliver ongoing creative marketing and implementation recommendations for current partners including digital, retail activation, in-stadium promotions, special events and community outreach ideas. Maintain accurate documentation of the partnership asset tracker and inventory. Facilitate ticket requests and distribution to partners. Ensure accurate documentation of partnership entitlements, including photos, screenshots, frequency reports, affidavits, etc. Maintain a priority focus on partner objectives, tracking ROI and ROO, media and promotional valuations, results, measurements, etc. Assist with execution of departmental special events. Submit all partnership creative briefs. Work all home games and assist with on-site partner activations. Assist in compiling all proof of performance and research data for partner recaps. Supervise partnership marketing intern and game day staff. Assist with coordinating the partner's player appearances. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields required. Experience with client/partner management in the fields of media, sport sponsorship or entertainment. Strong understanding of MLS and international fútbol a plus. Very strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and creatively solve day-to-day challenges. Extremely organized with a high attention to detail. Strong work ethic - must be a team player with a "get the job done" attitude. Strong organizational skills with proven experience managing multiple projects and timelines. Knowledge of marketing, promotions, event planning and game production preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays.
