Position Overview The Event Setup & Breakdown Crew is responsible for transporting, assembling, disassembling, and returning event décor, furniture, and equipment to ensure flawless event execution. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, teamwork, and safe driving skills , including the ability to operate trucks and box trucks up to 30 feet in length . Key Responsibilities Event Setup Duties:

Transport and unload event décor, furniture, and rental equipment safely. Assemble and arrange tables, chairs, arches, backdrops, linens, photo booths, and décor according to event plans. Ensure proper placement of items based on event layouts and client specifications. Carefully handle delicate rental items such as glassware, lighting, and floral arrangements. Work closely with event planners and coordinators to ensure all elements are in place.

Event Breakdown Duties:

Dismantle and pack event décor and rental items with care and efficiency. Load and secure all rental equipment onto company vehicles for return to storage. Ensure that all event spaces are left clean and free of rental items . Check inventory before and after events, noting any missing or damaged items. Assist in organizing the warehouse/storage space upon return.

Driving & Transportation:

Safely operate trucks and box trucks up to 30 feet for event deliveries and pickups. Ensure timely and secure transportation of all event materials to and from venues. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards , reporting any issues to management.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience & Physical Requirements:

Prior experience in event setup, warehouse work, moving services, or general labor preferred but not required. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs , bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor event environments , including varying weather conditions. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and follow event timelines.

Driving & License Requirements:

Must have a clean, valid driver's license. Must be able to drive box trucks up to 30 feet (experience preferred). Ability to safely load, transport, and unload event equipment using company vehicles.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup instructions. Punctual, professional, and team-oriented mindset. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to last-minute changes during event setup or breakdown. Basic knowledge of inventory management and organization .

Availability & Work Hours:

Flexible schedule required , including weekends, evenings, and late-night shifts . Must be available for on-call shifts based on event schedules.
