Blue Ridge, GA About Us:

Blue Ridge Creamery is a locally owned artisan ice cream shop serving hand-crafted premium ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and more in the heart of Blue Ridge, GA. We now have two locations - our Dine-In original location outside of Downtown, and our new Walk-Up Window location in Downtown Blue Ridge in the red caboose beside the train. We believe every scoop should come with a smile, and we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. In addition to our shops, we also bring the Creamery on the road with our food truck and special events.

Position Summary:

We are seeking friendly, dependable, and energetic team members to join our Creamery family. This role involves serving ice cream, creating delicious sundaes and milkshakes, assisting with baking treats, coordinating and working at events, and providing outstanding hospitality to our guests. The position is primarily based inside Blue Ridge Creamery or Blue Ridge Creamery Downtown but may occasionally include scheduled shifts on our food truck.

WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS MORE AVAILABILITY OR CAN DO MORNING AND EVENING SHIFTS.

Responsibilities:

Greet and serve guests with a positive, welcoming attitude Scoop ice cream accurately and prepare sundaes, milkshakes, and specialty treats consistently Assist with baking and preparing in-house desserts and pastries Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including counters, equipment, and dining areas - cleanliness is very important Follow health and food safety standards Handle cash, be able to accurately count change, and operate point-of-sale system accurately Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations Provide excellent hospitality and guest engagement at in-store and off-site events Assist in coordinating food truck schedules, catering events, and community bookings Set up, work, and break down events with professionalism and attention to detail

Qualifications:

Friendly and outgoing personality with strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Previous food service, retail, hospitality, or events experience is a plus (but not required - we will train the right person!) Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating events Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays (this is when we are busiest!) Must have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to scoop ice cream, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to load, unload, and help transport event supplies when needed Why Join Us?
