Job Description

At Smooth Body Wax Center, you'll welcome clients at the front desk and get creative behind the scenes with social media, email campaigns, and in-salon events. This is the perfect role if you're organized, self-motivated, and full of ideas—but also know how to ask for guidance when needed. We're looking for someone who wants to build a company and not just work a shift. If you love connecting with people and creating fun, fresh ways to grow a business, we want to meet you. This hybrid role is part Front Desk and part Marketing & Events Coordinator. You'll be the first face clients see when they walk in, and you'll also be behind the scenes creating fun and engaging ways to connect with our community through social media, email campaigns, and in-salon events.
What You'll Do:
Greet clients, check them in/out, and provide an exceptional customer experience. Manage appointment scheduling and support daily salon operations. Create engaging social media posts aligned with our brand. Develop and schedule email marketing campaigns. Brainstorm and execute in-salon events that build excitement and client loyalty. Collaborate with ownership while also working independently to bring new ideas to life.

Someone who takes ownership. Creative thinker who loves social media, marketing, and event planning. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Organized, detail-oriented, and strong at multitasking. Friendly, professional, and team-oriented with great communication skills.

Must-Haves:
Strong customer service or front desk/reception experience Excellent written and oral communication skills (in person, phone, email, and social media) Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative without being told what to do Comfortable learning and using booking/point-of-sale software Strong understanding of creating social media content for a business (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) Experience building email campaigns (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar) Proficiency with Canva and similar design tools.
Nice-to-Haves:
Salon/spa or beauty industry background Event planning or promotional experience
Pay:
$10.00 - $14.50 per hour
