Job Description

Overview The College of Idaho is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Digital Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to enhance the college's digital presence and share the stories that make our campus community exceptional. This active and highly visible role requires a presence at campus events, athletic games, and activities during standard business hours, as well as evenings and weekends, to capture authentic moments in real time. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute integrated digital marketing and social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, alumni engagement, and student enrollment. Create and manage engaging content across web, print, and social media platforms. Identify and tell compelling campus stories through written content, photography, and video production. Attend campus events, athletic competitions, and college activities to capture authentic, real-time content. Manage paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Oversee audience targeting, advertising budgets, campaign optimization, and performance reporting. Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and campus stakeholders to support marketing and communications initiatives. Maintain and update content through content management systems (CMS) across multiple digital channels. Stay current on emerging digital marketing trends, social media best practices, and AI-powered marketing tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Journalism, or a related field; or 3-5 years of equivalent professional experience. Proven experience developing and managing social media strategies for a professional brand. Experience managing paid social and digital advertising campaigns, including budget oversight and performance reporting. Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and multi-channel content publishing. Strong writing, communication, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Valid driver's license and ability to meet vehicle insurability requirements. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for campus events and activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education or a similar institutional environment. Experience utilizing AI-assisted content creation and AI-driven advertising tools. Demonstrated success in content storytelling, digital engagement, and campaign performance optimization. Salary and Benefits
  • Full-time, On-site position hiring range $50,241.00 -$55,824.00
