Race Director Role A J3 Events Race Director is responsible for producing J3 Events Races and 3rd party event management events when needed. This entails preparing for and delivering all aspects of producing live events including but not limited to; reviewing event details, purchasing water/snacks, packing for the event and handling race day activities such as registration, packet pickup, setup, teardown, timing, scoring, results, DJ, volunteers / crew coordination, and excellent customer service. Communicate directly to provide necessary information to other crew & volunteers. •Part Time and Full Time Positions Available Primary Responsibilities Primary responsibility is communicating directly with participants and venue and being the primary point of contact for staff, participants, volunteers, and vendors on race day. Acts as the primary point of contact on race day and is able to operate or oversee course setup, registration, timing, announcing, volunteer coordination, and customer service. •Additional tasks include providing timing for 3rd party races on weekends when we are not hosting an event.
